This 2-day course helps professionals strengthen their design confidence through practical design techniques and creative planning.

You’ll learn how to approach visual communication with more structure — from planning a campaign to creating multiple designs and presenting them with clarity.

The course is packed with hands-on activities using Canva’s tools and guided design workflows to help you design faster and better for real workplace needs.

Hands-on Activity: Understand the power of templates and moodboards. Learn what makes visuals effective, and start applying the 5 design principles.

Master Canva’s interface, explore its built-in apps, and discover useful shortcuts.

Hands-on Activity: Fix design problems in a sample visual, then recreate it using proper alignment, contrast, and structure.

Plan your design before creating. Learn how to define objectives, brainstorm visually, and create moodboards.

Hands-on Activity: Use Canva Whiteboard to plan a workplace visual (e.g., flyer/poster). Present and get feedback.

Explore Canva’s AI features to simplify content creation. Learn how to build strong presentations using layouts, structure, and visual flow.

Hands-on Activity: Create a short presentation using Canva Magic tools and apply storytelling techniques.

Teams plan a real design campaign — brainstorm ideas, identify collaterals, and map out design objectives.

Hands-on Activity: Each team builds 2–3 visuals (flyers, buntings, etc.) for their campaign.

Wrap up by presenting your team’s campaign visuals and pitch.

Hands-on Activity: Design and present a campaign deck (5–7 mins). Receive feedback and celebrate progress!
