Learn Canva’s interface while applying 5 essential design principles: alignment, contrast, hierarchy, proximity, and white space.

Hands-on activity: Explore Canva and create a basic layout using all 5 principles.

Learn how to plan an effective slide deck using a 6-step structure, then apply it using Canva templates and layout tools.

Hands-on activity: Outline a short presentation, customise a Canva slide template, and share your draft for peer feedback.

Wrap up with a real-world design challenge — create and present your own mini-deck based on everything you’ve learned.

Hands-on activity: Design a 5–7 slide presentation, present it to the group, and receive live feedback on both design and delivery.
