Learn the 5 core design principles and get familiar with Canva’s dashboard, layout tools, and features for visual design.

Hands-on activity: Explore Canva and create a basic design applying all 5 principles.

Understand the differences between poster and flyer formats, and learn to customise Canva templates effectively.

Hands-on activity: Create one poster and one flyer using Canva templates, then share drafts for feedback and refinement.

Apply everything you’ve learned in a final design project with peer presentation and feedback.

Hands-on activity: Design and present your final poster and flyer. Explain your creative decisions and receive live feedback from the trainer and peers.
